Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed satisfaction Friday that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had told Russian President Vladimir Putin that nothing could be decided about Ukraine without Kyiv’s participation.

“Scholz… gave me an account of his talk with V.Putin,” said Tusk on X, referring to a phone call earlier Friday between the two leaders.

“I was satisfied to hear that he not only condemned the Russian aggression, but he also reiterated the Polish position: ‘Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine’,” he added.
