The Duke of Sussex is facing a $30 million lawsuit in the US, The Telegraph reported. The lawsuit claimed that rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs named Prince Harry to make his sex trafficking parties seem legitimate.

Rodney Jones, a record producer, has accused Combs, along with some of his associates and record labels, of various sexual assault claims. The lawsuit of 73 pages was filed in New York last month.

Prince Harry named in $30M lawsuit against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, highlights allegations of ‘sex-trafficking parties’

According to the lawsuit, Combs was known for hosting sex trafficking parties, DailyMail reported. According to court documents, Lil Rod’s lawyers argue that guests were attracted to Diddy’s parties because of his “access to celebrities.” These include “famous athletes, political figures, artists, musicians, and international dignitaries like British Royal, Prince Harry”.

The Duke of Sussex is mentioned once in the lawsuit. It doesn’t imply that he had any knowledge of the allegations or involvement. Instead, it uses his name as an example of the kind of well-known people the defendants might have had access to.

In 2007, Prince William and Prince Harry met P Diddy and Kanye West at a post-concert party they hosted to thank everyone involved in the ‘Concert for Diana’ at Wembley Stadium. However, the court documents don’t mention the Prince of Wales. It’s uncertain how often Harry has met the rapper since then, if at all.

While Harry isn’t facing any legal claims, this isn’t the first time members of the royal family have been involved in serious court allegations in the US. Prince Andrew settled a lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein.

Diddy’s legal troubles and allegations of wrongdoing

Diddy’s Los Angeles and Florida mansions were raided by the Department of Homeland Security, followed by his tense appearance at a Miami airport after his private jet was tracked to Antigua, despite him not being on it.

Combs, who is a billionaire, is currently dealing with lawsuits from three women and has lost several business deals due to the allegations.

Jones alleges that underage girls and sex workers attended parties at the star’s house and that he witnessed the star drugging their drinks. He also says he has numerous hours of video evidence showing Combs engaging in “serious illegal activity”, according to DailyMail.

In his $30 million lawsuit, Jones has also named some of the industry’s biggest names as co-defendants. Diddy has denied the existing allegations, describing them as “sickening”, and his lawyer has dismissed Jones’s claims as “pure fiction”.
