The Kremlin on Monday said Russian President Vladimir Putin “briefed” his Chinese counterpart in a phone call on Moscow’s talks with the United States last week.
Putin “briefed the Chinese president on recent Russia-US contacts. The Chinese side expressed support for the start of dialogue between Russia and the US as well as its readiness to assist the search for a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict,” the Kremlin said in a statement.
