Moscow prosecutors warned Thursday against protests during this weekend’s presidential election after opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s widow called for rallies outside voting stations.

“The organisation of and participation in these mass events are punshable by virtue of the legislation in place,” they said in a statement posted on Telegram. The vote runs from Friday to Sunday.
