Russian forces holding Lyman in Donetsk with ‘their last strength’: separatists to agencies

A Kremlin proxy said Friday that Russian troops and their allies were holding on with “their last strength” to the key east Ukrainian town of Lyman, which Moscow has controlled since the spring.

“The situation remains difficult… our guys are holding on with their last strength,” Denis Pushilin, the pro-Moscow leader in the newly annexed region of Donetsk, told the RIA Novosti news agency.
