Kremlin-backed authorities in the Russian-controlled city of Donetsk in east Ukraine said Thursday that at least six people were killed by Ukrainian strikes on an outdoor market in the city.
“According to initial information, six people were killed and six more were injured in shelling of the Kryty market,” city official Alexei Kulemzin said in a statement on social media, while pro-Russian media released footage showing charred vehicles, a corpse and shattered glass from the scene.
