The US Supreme Court on Tuesday lifted a block imposed by a lower court judge on President Donald Trump’s sweeping cuts to the federal workforce.
US District Court Judge Susan Illston had paused the layoffs on the grounds that the moves to slash government staffing likely required approval from Congress.
