Taliban authorities have detained two Britons and a Chinese-American, Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Mateen Qani told AFP on Monday evening.
“Efforts are underway to resolve this issue,” he added shortly after the daughter of the two Britons — Peter and Barbie Reynolds, both in their 70s and who had been running training programs in Afghanistan for years — called on London to secure her parents’ release.
