Third major Australian LNG plant hit by cyclone outage: Woodside

A third major LNG processing plant in Australia has closed as a cyclone approaches, energy company Woodside said Friday, hampering supply of an in-demand fuel source outside the Middle East.

Oil and gas company Woodside said its Karratha Gas Plant had been hit by a “production interruption”, joining two massive Chevron LNG facilities already suffering outages.
