Donald Trump will still attend next week’s Republican National Convention, his campaign said Saturday, after the US presidential candidate was shot and injured in an apparent assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania.
“President Trump looks forward to joining you all in Milwaukee as we proceed with our convention to nominate him to serve as the 47th President of the United States,” said the campaign statement.
