Twitter adds 1.6 million daily active users in a week, Elon Musk says

Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced on Tuesday that the microblogging platform had gained 1.6 million daily active users in the previous week.

He tweeted: “Twitter added 1.6M daily active users this past week, another all-time high.”

MrBeast, a popular YouTube content creator, commented on Musk’s post”I wonder what YouTube’s daily actives is”.

“Let’s see what happens when Twitter offers good video with higher compensation for creators,” Musk replied.

Several users commented on Musk’s post, and one user said,, “and it’s revenue is at an all-time low”, while another asked, “any sense for how many are bots?”

Recently, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated that the company would work on shortening the upload time on the microblogging platform, with videos taking precedence.

The Twitter account “Tesla Owners Silicon Valley,” which is an official Tesla club, tweeted on Monday, asking Musk to “improve Twitter live video.”
