Twitter will concentrate more on engineering, design after completion of acquisition: Elon Musk

After the completion of the acquisition of the microblogging site, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that Twitter under his watch will focus heavily on hardcore software engineering, design, and other areas.

The Tesla CEO also stated that he believes that all technical managers “must be technically excellent.”

“If Twitter acquisition completes, the company will be super focused on hardcore software engineering, design, infosec and server hardware,” Musk tweeted late Friday.

“I strongly believe that all managers in a technical area must be technically excellent. Managers in software must write great software or it is like being a cavalry captain who cannot ride a horse!”

He tagged a Fortune article and one of his tweets that said,  “Job interest in Twitter skyrocketed more than 250 per cent since Musk moved to take over”.

Meanwhile, CNBC’s David Faber, who first reported Jack Dorsey’s resignation as Twitter CEO, has now claimed that Musk will serve as the company’s interim CEO for a few months.

According to the report, Musk has detailed the plans for the $44 billion takeover of Twitter in presentations to potential funders.

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has been in charge of the microblogging platform since November, taking over from Dorsey.

On a whim, he moved to China, and in his first week following a triumphant pub quiz victory, he found himself bleeding on the floor based on his arrogance. The same man who put him there offered him a job lecturing for the University of Wales in various sister universities throughout the Middle Kingdom. While primarily lecturing in descriptive and comparative statistics, Brendan simultaneously earned an Msc in Banking and International Finance from the University of Wales-Bangor. He's presently doing something he hates, respecting French people. Well, two, his wife and her mother in the lovely town of Antigua, Guatemala.
