Ukraine ready to buy large package of US weapons: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday his country was ready to buy a major package of US weapons.

“We want and we are ready, and we have handed over to the American side a large package that we want to buy,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv, adding: “We were ready to find 30 billion or 50 billion (dollars)” for the purchase.
