Ukraine reports ‘progress’ after US talks, but ‘some issues’ need more work

Ukraine negotiator Rustem Umerov on Monday said “significant progress” was achieved in two days of talks with US officials on ending the war with Russia, but “some issues” required further work.

“We achieved significant progress, although some issues still require further refinement,” Umerov said on social media after the talks in Florida with a US team led by presidential envoy Steve Witkoff.
