Ukraine and Romania on Thursday signed a statement of intent to produce drones together in the NATO member country during a visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Bucharest aimed at deepening defence cooperation.
The project would be partially funded through EU’s SAFE Initiative by up to 200 million euros, said a statement signed by both sides.
