Ukraine commander admits 'problems' in France-trained army unit

Ukraine’s army chief Oleksandr Syrsky said Tuesday that Kyiv’s forces now control 1,294 square kilometres (almost 500 square miles) and 100 settlements in the Russian border region of Kursk.

Syrsky added that Ukraine has taken 594 Russian soldiers prisoner during the three-week-long incursion.
