Multiple reports across various social media platforms reveal that many Google Assistant users are now getting an error message. The error info says “Update the Google app to use your Assistant.” This issue surfaces every time the affected users try using the Google Assistant app.
For now, the exact cause of this error message is still unclear. Some affected users even mentioned they tried using a couple of troubleshooting steps. Will there be a fix to remove the error message?
The good news is that one of the Google staff has come out to shed more light on the issue. According to the Diamond Product Expert, the issue has now been escalated to the Google team for further investigation.
