President Donald Trump on Tuesday called for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be investigated for insider trading, accusing her of profiting from non-public information gained through her position in Congress.
“Nancy Pelosi became rich by having insider information…I think that’s disgraceful,” Trump said.
He went on to question her stock market success, stating, “She has the highest return of practically, ANYBODY in the history of Wall Street… HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?”
“I think Nancy Pelosi should be INVESTIGATED!” the President declared.
