President Xi Jinping was not criticising Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in a video shot on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali, China’s foreign ministry said on Thursday.
“I don’t think that should be interpreted as Xi Jinping criticising or blaming anyone,” ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning told a regular press briefing.
