Zelensky announces arrival in Washington for NATO summit

Zelensky sees ratings drop as Ukraine war nears 4th year

President Volodymyr Zelensky had arrived in Washington to attend the NATO summit, the leader announced on Tuesday in a video statement, saying he would call for more aid for Ukraine during the meeting.

“We are doing and will always do everything to make the Russian terrorist lose,” added Zelensky, saying he would be asking allies for more air defence systems, fighter jets, and additional security guarantees.
