Zelensky says needs ‘immediate’ steps on air defence

NATO chief 'confident' US will keep arming Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday Ukraine needed “immediate” action from NATO to bolster its air defences, after speaking with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

“I am grateful to the Secretary General and NATO partners for their prompt response. Ukraine requires immediate steps to strengthen its air defence,” Zelensky said in a post on X.
