According to the US Geological Survey, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted the coast of the US’s eastern state of Oregon at 0036 GMT on Wednesday.
Geologists reported at least 50 earthquakes off the Oregon coast in the last 24 hours.

According to the USGS, the swarm included two 5.8 magnitude earthquakes and dozens more quakes with magnitudes greater than 3.4.
The epicentre of 5.8 magnitude earthquake was initially determined to be at 44.40 degrees north latitude and 129.53 degrees west longitude, according to Xinhua news agency.
