Active shooter situation reported in Portland on Friday after a suspect reportedly fired shots on 1600 block of North Willis Boulevard.
The shooter have barricaded himself in the home at N Willis/N Fenwick.
The first shots fired call came in at 7:28 a.m. near North Kenwick Avenue in Willis. Dispatchers reported that “the subject is still shooting” at 7:37 a.m, according to Oregon Live.
According to reports, the suspect started shooting on officers after police served warrant. Initial reports say at least one officer was injured and taken to the hospital in a police cruiser.
The officer was taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center for treatment. Their current condition is unknown.
Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) is on the scene.
