Bill Gates to use microchip implants for coronavirus: Conspiracy Or Real?

Published by

One of the good things about Bill Gates during this coronavirus period is that he’s been outspoken about the pandemic. However, what doesn’t seem right is people turning him to be the top target for most coronavirus conspiracy theories, especially that of microchip implants. With a lot being said about the speculation, here’s a burning question:

Will Bill Gates use microchip implants to fight coronavirus?

In this article, we’ll be looking at Bill Gates’ microchip implants idea to fight coronavirus, and see whether or not it’s a conspiracy.

According to an analysis by the NewYorkTimes and Zignal Labs, coronavirus conspiracies falsely linked to Bill Gates between February and April were mentioned about 1.2 million times on media platforms. That’s about 33% more than the 5G coronavirus conspiracy theory. Also, the analytics company explained that Bill Gates’ conspiracy theory about microchip implants came out 18,000 times daily in April.

How Bill Gates’ microchip implants idea started

Most posts say the billionaire will launch human-implantable capsules, with digital certificates having the ability to identify coronavirus patients. The claims came following a platform (Biohackinfo), bringing up stories, and utilizing Bill Gates’ Q&A session on Reddit, in March, as a springboard for rumors.

During the Q&A session, Bill Gates was asked for his opinion about changes to business as a result of the pandemic. He replied saying:

“The question of which businesses should keep going is tricky. Certainly the food supply and the health system. We still need water, electricity, and the internet. Supply chains for critical things need maintenance. Countries are still figuring out what to keep running,” he wrote. “Eventually we will have some digital certificates to show who recovers or tested recently or when we have a vaccine who has received it.”

However, Biohackinfo went ahead to post that,

“quantum dot dye would be used as human implantable capsules that have ‘digital certificates’ which can show who has been tested for the coronavirus.”

That’s how Bill Gates’ coronavirus conspiracy on the microchip implants started on social media. Nonetheless, the platform has claimed it was only referring to a quantum tattoos study funded by the Gates Foundation.

In March, Bill Gates’ coronavirus conspiracy theory on microchip implants had the biggest boost. That came following a YouTube video that cited Biohackinfo. Also, the video compared the quantum tattoos to the mark of Satan and tagged Gate as the Antichrist.

What Does Digital Certificates Mean According To Bill Gates?

Of course, Bill Gates talked about “digital certificates”. But he didn’t say that it’ll be in the form of a microchip implant to fight coronavirus. According to IBM, a digital certificate is an electronic document that can help to identify people with a public key.

Furthermore, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also came out to say,

“The reference to digital certificates only relates to efforts to build an open-source digital platform that extends support for home-based coronavirus testing.”

Conclusion

Bill Gates did mention using digital certificates with health records to fight coronavirus. However, he didn’t say he is utilizing it as a microchip implant, as many people claim. Therefore, we can also consider this as one of the conspiracy theories spreading about the coronavirus pandemic.
