US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday called Russian President Vladimir Putin “totally irresponsible” after he threatened to use nuclear weapons in case of a major air attack.

“It’s totally irresponsible, and I think many in the world have spoken clearly about that when he’s been rattling the nuclear saber, including China in the past,” Blinken said in an MSNBC television interview as he attended the UN General Assembly.
