City bus service affected by possible cyberattack in Honolulu, Hawaii – REPORT

The city says it is looking into a possible cyberattack that caused a massive shutdown of online servers affecting Oahu Transit Services, which operates TheBus and TheHandi-Van, Hawaii News Now reported Thursday.

Despite the problem, TheBus will continue to run on time, according to the city, and there should be no delays in service.

TheHandi-Van, on the other hand, is unable to access, view, or print customer reservations. Customers are encouraged to schedule same-day pickups by calling (808) 456-5555, Hawaii News Now report said.

Other city operations are not impacted. It is unknown when the affected service will be restored.
