A second batch of classified documents was found in President Joe Biden‘s garage next to his Corvette. The White House Counsel revealed on Thursday that 10 sensitive files were found at Biden’s former think tank office in Washington.

White House reveals more classified documents found from Biden’s garage near his Corvette

The Special Counsel to the President, Richard Sauber, informed that the sensitive documents were immediately handed over to the National Archives. He also said that the Department of Justice was notified promptly.

However, it is still not clear what kind of information was present in the files or the exact date they were found in Biden’s place.

The astonishing revelation comes as the Justice Department analyzes whether Biden misused classified information. It could be a possible crime after Biden left office as vice president in 2017. Meanwhile, Attorney General Merrick Garland was expected to make an official statement at 1:15 p.m.

“Classified materials next to your Corvette? What were you thinking?” a Fox News journalist named Peter Doocy questioned Biden after he talked about annual inflation reaching 6.5% in December.

“My Corvette is in a locked garage, okay? So it’s not like they’re sitting out on the street,” Biden responded.

“So it was in a locked garage?” Doocy then asked.

“Yes, as well as my Corvette,” Biden admitted.

“But as I said earlier this week, people know I take classified documents and classified material seriously,” the president added.

“I also said we’re cooperating fully and completely with the Justice Department’s review. As part of that process, my lawyers reviewed other places where documents might — from my time as vice president — were stored and they finished the review last night. They discovered a small number of documents with classified markings in storage areas and file cabinets in my home and my personal library.”

White House special counsel initially made the disclosure

A while back, White House special counsel Richard Sauber first made the disclosure in a written statement.

“During the review, the lawyers discovered among personal and political papers a small number of additional Obama-Biden Administration records with classified markings,” Sauber claimed.

During his almost two years in office, Biden has made frequent visits to his Wilmington home. According to the Secret Service, no logs of his visitors are kept there.
