Elon Musk responded on Friday with an extraordinary gesture to Donald Trump’s recent social media post featuring his mugshot. Trump willingly submitted himself to authorities at Georgia’s Fulton County Jail.

Elon Musk, on Friday, described Donald Trump‘s social media update of his mugshot as “next level.” The former United States President, subsequent to his apprehension concerning the Georgia election case, shared his police booking photo on X (formerly known as Twitter).

In addition, Trump, affiliated with the Republican party, replicated the same content on Truth Social, both posts accompanied by the phrases “election interference” and “never surrender.”

Elon Musk reposted Trump’s message from X, adding the caption “next-level.”

This came after the Fulton County Jail released a mugshot picture of him, which soon went viral.

The prison authorities noted his height as 6 feet and 3 inches, weight as 215 pounds (97kg), with either blond or strawberry-colored hair and blue eyes. He was identified with the inmate number P01135809.

Donald Trump voluntarily presented himself to authorities at Georgia’s Fulton County Jail, facing accusations of scheming to overturn the state’s 2020 election results—an unparalleled incident that produced the inaugural mugshot of a former U.S. president.

A substantial motorcade and a strong police presence escorted him from the Atlanta airport to the jail and back.

His detainment in Georgia denotes the fourth instance this year where the former president has surrendered himself following legal charges lodged against him by federal and state authorities. Nevertheless, it represents the maiden occurrence of his mugshot being taken.

Following his release on a $200,000 bond, Trump promptly stated to journalists that he had committed no wrongdoing.
