According to officials, two police officers were injured and a suspect was shot and killed in Doral on Friday morning.
Doral Police said one officer was grazed in the face and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other officer was shot in the chest, possibly in the arm and leg, and was taken to the hospital; their condition is unknown.
A non-involved civilian was also injured in the shooting and is being transported to the hospital.
The shooting incident occurred near Northwest 92nd Avenue and Northwest 25th Street, where there was a heavy police presence.
The cause of the shooting has not been disclosed by police.
