Finnish, Swedish leaders meet Erdogan over NATO bids

The leaders of Finland and Sweden met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of a NATO summit in Madrid Tuesday to try to get him to drop objections to them joining, Swedish and Finnish officials said.

Erdogan has refused to greenlight the applications from the Nordic pair despite calls from his NATO allies to clear the path for them to enter.
