Reports of plane crash at Provincetown airport

Emergency crews are responding to a report of a plane crash at Provincetown Municipal Airport in Massachusetts.

In a Facebook post, Town Manager Alex Morse said, he spoke with the police chief who said a Cape Air flight was landing in Provincetown and weather caused a problem with the landing.

According to initial reports, 6 passengers were on board.

There were no fatalities in the plane crash, according to Morse.

Statement from Cape Air after crash:

“Cape Air confirms that Flight 2072 traveling from Boston Logan International to Provincetown Airport plane exited the runway. Six passengers and one crew member were onboard. Emergency crews are onsite and we will provide more details as they become available.“
