Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett believes there is proof of UFOs in the Bible and accused the government of covering up the evidence.
The Republican representative was speaking to News Nation on Saturday. He said that the US government played a big part in the ‘huge cover-up’ of potential alien life.

News Nation Anchor Natasha Zouves introduced the segment by saying there was a new term for UFOs, “unidentified aerial phenomena” or UAPs, because “experts believe it has less stigma to it.”
Congressman Burchett was recently re-elected for a third term. Since then, he has endorsed the public release of UFO information to the American people. He was referencing the recent report delivered to Congress that revealed a significant increase in military sightings of “unidentified objects in the sky.”
According to the anchor, some of these objects were able to be identified as drones or balloons. But there were still 171 unidentified creatures that had no possible explanation. Some of them have even been recorded on video showing “unusual flight characteristics or performance capabilities.”
Zouves questioned Burchett about what he believed the 171 unidentified flying objects could be. The Republican rep replied that he had been a “believer in phenomena for a long time.” He added that he was a Christian but “not a very good one”.
“The first chapter of Ezekiel is pretty clear of a UFO sighting,” Burchett explained, citing the King James version.

Burchett emphasized that a few of the UFO sightings revealed vehicles capable of maneuvers beyond the capabilities of any known civilian or military aircraft. He added that if they were human, they would put lethal force on any inhabitants.
“If you were human and made the turns that have been seen in some of this footage, you would literally turn into a ketchup packet,” said Burchett. “I mean, you would be gone.”
“We’ve been covering this thing up since the ’40s, since Roswell or before then,” Burchett claimed.
“I don’t trust the government,” he stated. “There’s an arrogance about it and I think the American public can handle it. And they need to release everything, including if the government possessed an alien craft, he added.
