President Trump strongly denied any connection with Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex trafficker, on Tuesday, The Hill reported. He dismissed claims suggesting he had never been on Epstein’s plane or visited the so-called “stupid island.” Trump’s denial came in response to AI-generated images circulating online with Epstein.

Trump Condemns AI-Generated Images of Epstein Association Amidst Unsealed Court Documents

The ex-president shared screenshots from an article in The Daily Mail, which talks about actor Mark Ruffalo apologizing for sharing AI-created photos of the former president and Epstein on a plane.

“This is what the Democrats do to their Republican Opponent, who is leading them, by a lot, in the Polls. This is A.I., and it is very dangerous for our Country!” Trump posted on his Truth Social site. “I was never on Epstein’s Plane, or at his ‘stupid’ Island. Strong Laws ought to be developed against A.I. It will be a big and very dangerous problem in the future!”

These remarks follow the recent unsealing of court documents related to Epstein’s long history of sexual abuse. Around 150 individuals, previously redacted in a settled civil suit against Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, were revealed.

Although names of influential figures linked to Epstein, such as Trump, Prince Andrew, and former President Clinton, were mentioned, the documents didn’t provide much new information.

Ruffalo Acknowledges AI Images, Users on Platform X Fact-Check the Controversy

The Daily Mail piece focuses on Ruffalo’s post about Trump’s potential connections to Epstein, noting that the actor was unaware the photos were AI-generated when he initially shared them.

Users on platform X utilized the fact-checking feature on the social media app to offer clarification, confirming that the images were created using artificial intelligence.

“Sorry Folks. Apparently these images are AI fakes,” the actor posted Jan. 6. “The fact that Trump was on Epstein’s plane and what Epstein was up to is not. Be careful.”

The unveiling of the documents intensifies speculation about potential individuals labeled as “co-conspirators” in Epstein’s prolonged history of abuse. Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend, is presently serving a 20-year sentence for her alleged involvement in aiding the former financier.
