Numerous documents linked to the late Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender, are set for release this week, with former President Bill Clinton among the notable names, according to ABC News.

Clinton was among the influential figures associated with Epstein before the financier faced charges related to trafficking underage girls and later died in custody. Other prominent individuals connected to Epstein include Britain’s Prince Andrew, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, actor Kevin Spacey, comedian Chris Tucker, etc.

Referred to as “John Doe 36,” Clinton’s name appears over 50 times in redacted documents. Most references come from filings by lawyers representing Virginia Giuffre, a purported victim of Epstein’s trafficking network, seeking Clinton’s testimony about his ties to Epstein, as per ABC News.

Additionally, records are anticipated to mention Clinton in relation to Giuffre’s and Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell’s efforts to probe Epstein’s activities in 2016 after he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights during a deposition.

However, there’s no evidence in the sealed documents to suggest wrongdoing by Clinton, who was frequently seen with Epstein and traveled on his private plane dubbed the “Lolita Express.” Both Clinton and Maxwell deny claims that he ever visited Epstein’s island retreat, Little St. James.

U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska decided that the records would be made public this year. Over 170 individuals will be identified after being previously shielded under aliases. Many of these names, like Prince Andrew’s, have prior associations with Epstein, spanning alleged misconduct, victimhood, affiliations, or visits to his properties.

Giuffre has accused Maxwell and Epstein of coercing her into having sexual encounters with Prince Andrew, including one incident at a 2001 gathering at Epstein’s New York residence. Prince Andrew refutes these allegations and settled a legal dispute with Giuffre.

Certain records, particularly those involving individuals abused as minors by Epstein, will remain confidential, as per the judge’s decision.

Epstein passed away in 2019 in jail, awaiting trial on sex trafficking allegations. Although officially ruled a suicide, doubts and conspiracy theories about his death persist.

Maxwell is presently serving a 20-year prison term for her role in aiding Epstein’s exploitation of minors.
