According to, Bridget Brink, Washington’s Ambassador to Kiev, the US is considering providing military training to Ukraine.

“I can’t tell the exact number or the plan, but I can say that I talked about it with officials from the Pentagon,” Xinhua news agency quoted Brink as saying.

She added that the US is working to provide Kiev with more aid aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s frontline positions.

On June 15, the US Embassy in Ukraine announced that the US government had provided $4.6 billion in defence aid to Kiev in response to Russia’s ongoing war.

Since Russia’s invasion of Kiev on February 24, the United States has provided approximately $6.9 billion in security assistance to Ukraine.
