Chinese President Xi has signed mobilisation order for military training

Chinese President Xi Jinping has signed a mobilisation order for the training of the armed forces, the Central Military Commission’s (CMC) first order in 2022.

Xi, who is also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the chairman of the CMC, signed an order declaring the start of military training for the year on Tuesday, according to the Xinhua news agency.

According to the order, the entire rank and file of the armed forces must resolutely implement the Party leadership’s and the CMC’s plans and instructions, while also accurately understanding the changing landscape of national security and combat circumstances.

According to the order, the armed forces must closely monitor the evolution of technology, warfare, and adversaries, redouble their efforts to better integrate training with combat operations, and strengthen systematic training and the use of technologies to develop an elite force capable of fighting and winning wars.

According to the order, all officers and soldiers should maintain the spirit of not fearing death or hardship, and conduct training in a vigorous, well-designed, and safe manner to improve their commanding and fighting capability and foster excellent conduct.
