The much-awaited COD: Modern Warfare 2 campaign is not available or missing for multiple players. Fans of the game looked forward to the sequel of the 2019 released Modern Warfare game and pre-ordered it. Despite the pre-order, the game is not accessible to many people.
The campaign will be made available to the public on October 28. Beta users reported many issues such as crashing on Xbox, and the game getting stuck.

Multiple reports suggest that the COD: Modern Warfare 2 campaign is inaccessible even for eligible players. Also, the issue is occurring on consoles and desktops.
Players claim that they don’t see the game mode which they download the game from. When players try to run the game, they receive a message saying that the DLC pack is missing.
“Is Anyone else Unable to Play the Campaign Early Access on Steam? I pre-ordered the game and preinstalled it yesterday when it became available. However, when I finally had time to sit down and play it tonight all it says is Coming Oct 28,” a player posted.
“The game won’t launch. Sadly the game doesn’t launch. Is anyone else running into this problem?” another player asked.
Potential workarounds
Here are some potential fixes that can help to get you access to the campaign. The first tip is to change the language of the game to your regional language for Battle.net players. For those on Steam, restarting the PC might help.
“Restart steam and your computer. Make sure there’s no update waiting to be downloaded,” a player recommended. Xbox players can try to hard reset their Xbox. Additionally, you may also try the following:
Fix for PS5 players: “Mine said the same thing, (that everything was installed), but apparently they were not installed at all. I had to hit the install button beside each one to start it. The problem is there very little initial indication that this does anything. All you see is a bit of a moving outline around the install button,” one person shared on Reddit.
