Firefighters on Monday battled a fire at Ecuador’s biggest oil refinery, Energy Minister Ines Manzano said.
Writing on X, Manzano said a fuel tank caught fire at the refinery in Esmeraldas province, on the border with Colombia, but insisted the situation was “under control.”
