Elon Musk changed his Twitter profile from Chief Twit to ‘Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator’ on Tuesday as he celebrated Halloween with his mother.

After receiving numerous requests for change on Twitter, Musk decided to edit his profile bio for 112.7 million followers.

Stephen King, a well-known American author, asked him if $20 for a Twitter blue badge was too much.

“$20 a month to keep my blue check? F*** that, they should pay me. If that gets instituted, I’m gone like Enron,” he posted.

Musk responded: “We must find a way to pay the bills! Twitter cannot rely solely on advertising revenue. What about $8?”

The new Twitter CEO also stated that he will explain the reasoning in greater detail before this is implemented.

“It is the only way to defeat the bots and trolls,” he mentioned.

Musk also advised his followers to follow Yoel Roth, “for the most accurate understanding of what’s happening with trust and safety at Twitter,” the microblogging platform’s Head of Safety and Integrity.

He also informed a follower that Twitter will soon delete all inactive accounts, potentially if they have been inactive for more than a year.

Musk said of the dissolution of the Twitter board, “This is just temporary.”

Musk is now the official CEO of Twitter, as the microblogging platform prepares for more layoffs.

He reportedly brought over 50 Tesla employees to Twitter to assist with the transition.
