The latest reports reveal that the first beta of iOS 16 comes with an improvement for the Photos app. According to a report on MacRumors, the process of “copying photo edits and applying them” to others in the iOS 16 beta is pretty simple. The iOS 16 Photos app has new features that allow you to copy photo edits and apply them to others. To enjoy these features, here’s what you need to know below:

  • The first step requires you to apply your edits to an image.
  • Once you’re done applying the edits, the next thing is to locate & tap on the new three dots icon. It is available in the upper right corner of the app.
  • From the menu, locate and tap on the “Copy Edits” option. At this point, all the edits you applied to the image will be copied.
  • Next, you need to find another photo and open it.
  • After opening the photo, you need to click on the new three dots icon again. This time, you need to locate and tap on the “Paste Edits” option. At this point, the new image will have the same photo edits as the previous photo.

iOS 16 Photos app also comes with an “Undo/Redo Edits” feature

The new iOS 16 Photos app feature, which allows you to copy edits and apply them to others, is very useful for people who like to repeat a particular photo aesthetic. In the past, this option was only possible on iPhones with relevant third-party applications. However, with this new feature, iOS 16 users won’t need to rely on third-party apps anymore.

Apart from the Copy & Paste edits feature, Apple also added a new “Undo or Redo Edits” feature to iOS 16. This feature prevents users from discarding all edits should in case something doesn’t feel right.
