The Kremlin said Friday that its military was working out the timing of a truce in the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Oleshky, following US First Lady Melania Trump’s surprise announcement that she had secured a ceasefire there.

“We welcome the efforts of US First Lady Melania Trump, who has made a significant contribution to coordinating the humanitarian operation… the military is currently working on coordinating the timing of the ceasefire,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
