Trump campaign: Yesterday was the “biggest online fundraising day ever”

Trump 2024 Run without Pence

In recent news, the Trump campaign has confirmed that last night was the biggest online fundraising day ever. Last night was reportedly bigger than any fundraising day in the 2016 presidential election. This information was revealed by Bill Stepien, Trump’s campaign manager, who told the press that yesterday marked “biggest online fundraising day ever.” He also added that yesterday was “exceeding any 2016 figures. ”

“Biggest online fundraising day ever”

Yamiche Alcindor, a White House correspondent, tweeted, “Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien just said on a press call that yesterday was the campaign’s biggest online fundraising day ever, better than any day in 2016. He added Biden talking about transitioning away from oil “put the nail in the coffin” in PA and likely in OH and MN.

This is great news for Trump supporters. It was previously anticipated that Joe Biden’s fundraising campaign would overshadow Trump’s. The president’s campaign committee concluded the month of September with  $63.1 million in its coffers. At the same time, Biden’s team calculated $177.3 million cash on hand. When these statistics were revealed, Democrats were quick to celebrate Trump’s lagging figures.

Tim Murtaugh, Trump’s communications director, tweeted that the Trump campaign, the Republican National Committee in addition to the joint committees had a total of $251 million cash at their hands. He tweeted, “President Trump hits final stretch with strength, resources, record & huge ground game needed to spread the message and secure re-election.”

“I would be the greatest that ever lived. All they have to do is give me a list of the top hundred companies, I’ll call the president of every one. They will pay me whatever I want. I would set every record. The problem is, I’d owe them”, said Donald Trump.

US citizens react

Many people have voiced skepticism regarding this news, especially since until yesterday media outlets were reporting that Biden’s fundraising had made three times the worth of Trump’s fundraising. One user tweeted, “225,000 Americans are dead. America saw the highest number of COVID cases yesterday Hospitalisations are at a record high of 42,000 1,000 Americans (av) are dying per day And all Bill Stepien can do is try to distract attention when Biden spoke of a transition. UNBELIEVABLE.”

Another user tweeted the following concern, “Did Trump’s campaign manager address how small businesses are doing on Trump’s watch, and how that will play out with voters in PA, OH, and MN? Does Team Trump really think voters are more interested in subsidies for oil companies than relief for small businesses?

The Federal Election Commission reported on Thursday night that Trump’s campaign has raised approximately $43.6 billion in the period between Octiver 1 and October 14. While the compaign has spent about a $63.1 million. During the presidential debate held on Thursday, Donald Trump said, “”We don’t need money. We have plenty of money. In fact, we beat Hillary Clinton with a tiny fraction of the money that she was able to raise.”
