Many users are reporting that they are getting a ‘Sorry your account is not eligible for Twitter Blue’ error.

Twitter Blue membership is without a doubt one of the most important features added to the site. But, there have been numerous difficulties with it.

For example, several users have already expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of accessibility of Twitter Blue in their respective countries. The service also generated a problem that stopped subscribers from altering their usernames.

Reports of ‘Sorry your account is not eligible for Twitter Blue’ issue

Many people are surprised because Twitter recently revealed that the option is now available on the web and iOS. However, it now displays the above-mentioned error.

Some people are confused since they are still unable to activate the feature even after paying for it. Others are irritated because they are unable to use important Twitter Blue features such as Edit Tweet, reader mode, and others.

A user reported: “So I’m getting a message that my account is ineligible. It’s not a new account and handle/name hasn’t changed recently. I just want edit features back.”

“@elonmusk @Twitter @TwitterBlue Twitter Blue Web is not working for the last three business accounts I have nor is registration an option on IOS. Explanation?” another posted.

The issue has also caused some individuals to conclude that the function is actually broken because, despite numerous attempts, it simply times out.

Furthermore, even after meeting all of the fundamental conditions for a Twitter Blue subscription, some people are unable to use the service.

No official acknowledgment or workaround

Sadly, Twitter has not responded to users’ reports complaining about the error message that is being displayed.

There is also no workaround that allows users to temporarily access the Twitter Blue feature.

Earlier, Twitter suspended the launch of Twitter Blue paid subscription and was actively preventing individuals from subscribing after a surge of impersonation issues, according to an internal report.

The service’s launch resulted in a rush of imposter accounts, causing confusion and disorder across the platform. However, Musk said that existing Blue subscribers will continue to have access to Blue features. However, the recent issue further prevents users from using the service.
