According to multiple reports, the in-game sound has stopped working with some apps and games. People posted on Reddit and other community forums about the audio issue with Xbox and asked for solutions.

“After I start a game on my Series X, for example, Forza Horizon 5 or F1 22, with Quick Resume, the sound is gone in all games. Restarting and power cycling doesn’t help either. The only way to get the sound back is to switch it off for a long time,” another person posted.

Some users believe the issue might be with their Samsung smart TVs.

“I still get audio on the dashboard, and when I go into volume and output in settings, it’ll play sound when I test my speaker output, but in any game, I launch there is 0 audio. It does work through a headset, but that doesn’t help the main issue when I want to play games with my partner,” a disappointed user posted.

The persisting audio issue has made it difficult for users to have a good and immersive. Affected players said they are not able to fully enjoy the games due to no sound.
