Fortnite, developed by Epic Games in 2017, is one of the most popular battle-royale games worldwide. This video game’s popularity is partly because of its rewarding progression system and unique features. Besides, many people choose Fortnite because its developers regularly roll out updates, including new content and bug fixes. Recently, Epic Games released Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. This update includes new characters, such as Tsuki 2.0 and Gunnar. It also comes with new equipment, such as Drum Shotgun and Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle. Unfortunately, the update also comes with a couple of annoying issues. The latest reports reveal that Fortnite players are experiencing a situation where the controller is constantly vibrating after leaving a boat.

The rest of this post will further provide information regarding the new Fortnite issue. That’s not all; it also includes a couple of workarounds that you can use to address the situation temporarily.

The controller is non-stop vibrating after leaving a boat, Fortnite players report

As earlier mentioned, Epic Games recently rolled out the Chapter 3 Season 2 update of the Fortnite game. This update includes new features, characters, and a lot of bug fixes. Sadly, the update also introduced a couple of issues. Earlier, in one of our posts, we reported a situation where the Fortnite game is crashing on PC after the latest update came out.

According to the latest reports across several social media sites and forums, players are currently complaining about an annoying controller vibration bug. While explaining the issue, the affected Fortnite players mentioned anytime they try jumping off and leaving a boat, their controller gets stuck vibrating.

For now, the exact cause of the annoying issue is still unclear. However, several reports suggest the problem is bug-related. Let’s have a quick look at what the players are saying regarding the issue:

According to this player, the annoying issue started after the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 update. The player also added that the controller often gets stuck vibrating every time he jumps off a boat. There’s a workaround to address the issue

For now, there’s no official fix yet from Epic Games to resolve the issue on the ground. However, according to this post, the developers are already aware of the situation and working hard to resolve it as soon as possible.

We don’t know when the official fix will be available but we know a workaround that you can try out. A Redditor (Oreoc1) says all you need to resolve the issue is to return to the driver’s seat of the boat as soon as the glitch surfaces.
