A viral video shared on social media showed a crane has collapsed on to a house in Bow, East London. London Fire Brigade says crews are working to rescue people trapped inside.
Witnesses from the scene say the driver of the crane has been rescued.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 2.42pm today to reports of an incident involving a crane collapsing near Watts Grove, Bow.”
“The incident is ongoing and we are working closely with other members of the emergency services at the scene.”
