Dear Neighbor: Trump supporters receive warning letters at home

Dear Neighbor letter Trump Supporters home Fair Warning

The authorities in New Hampshire are investigating threatening letters that were anonymously dispatched to homes of Trump supporters. The letters were received by several supporters of Trump including residents of Milford, N.H., and Brookline, N.H. The letter began with “Dear Neighbor” and contained threats of burning down residents’ homes and damaging their property. The letter was intended to give a “fair warning”.

Here’s what the full letter reads:

Dear Neighbor,

You have been identified by our group as being a Trump supporter.

Your address has been added into our database as a target for when we attack should Trump not concede the election.

We recommend that you check your home insurance policy and make that it is current and that it has adequate coverage for fire damage.

You have been given “Fair Warning”.

Always remember, that it was “you” that started this Civil War.

Be prepared to face the severe consequences of your pre-emptive actions against democracy.

“Dear neighbor” – threatening letters

Kelly, one of the recipients of the letters shared the contents of the letter with a news outlet.  The letter reads, “Dear neighbor, You have been identified by our group as being a Trump supporter. Your address has been added to our database as a target when we attack should Trump not concede the election. We recommend that you check your home insurance policy and make that it is current and that it has adequate coverage for fire damage.”

“I was very taken aback. This is my home. “You’re not supposed to threaten my home. I’m very worried in the sense that this is going on in my town,” said Kelly.

Kelly is one of the many Trump supporters to whose home the letter was sent. Capt. Craig Frye of the Milford Police Department told a news agency that the officers had referred the case to the United States Postal Inspection Service, so the sender can be tracked down and identified. The state attorney general’s office has also been alerted regarding the situation, the attorney general’s office is also assisting with the investigation regarding the letters.

The Brookline Police Department was told that two residents had received the threatening letter. Chief Bill Quigley of the Brookline Police Department said, “It’s on a felony level, because of the threat of burning homes down and causing injury, but it could also be with the postal inspectors, something on the federal level. ”

Trump supporters recieve a “fair warning”

The letter concludes by stating, “You have been given fair warning” — Always remember, that it was ‘you’ that started this Civil War. Be prepared to face the severe consequences of your pre-emptive actions against democracy.” The letter has been typed which makes it harder to trace down the sender. If the letter had been handwritten, handwriting experts would have been able to narrow down possible suspects. The sender began the letter with “Dear Neighbor”, which makes it even more scary because it implies that the sender is just some distance away.

In other news, a man was arrested in Maryland for leaving a note that threatened expressed threats to kill Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. James Dale Reed, aged 42 belonging from Frederick, in western Maryland, left a note outside the house of a Biden supporter. The note read, “This is a warning to anyone reading this letter if you are a Biden/Harris supporter you will be targeted. ”

The note also contained a threat, “We have a list of homes and addresses by your election signs. We are the ones with those scary guns, We are the ones your children have nightmares about.”
