Elon Musk’s Twitter pal from Pune, Pranay Pathole, who recently met him, described the tech billionaire as “super genuine” and “down-to-earth,” according to media reports.

“He is super genuine. Like, way down-to-earth. He is humble,” the 23-year-old told AFP.

“I don’t think that he’s a troll. He is an unpredictable guy,” he added.

Pathole recently met Musk at his Texas Gigafactory and said it was a pleasure to meet him in person. They’ve been Twitter friends since 2018 and continue to talk about everything from space to cars.

“To be very honest, I have no idea. I think he must be like, really intrigued by my questions,” he said.

“I want to get a job at Tesla on my own merit. It is not like I want any favours. It would be good if he could interview me,” Pathole mentioned.

Musk stated in May that he is not in charge of Pathole’s Twitter account.

Pathole, who has over 1.8 lakh followers, stated: “Many people believe that my Twitter account is managed by @elonmusk. It’s also TRUE. He’s a very busy man, building rockets, creating multi-planetary life, developing futuristic electric vehicles, and digging tunnels. And he still finds time to manage multiple Twitter accounts. YES.”

Musk responded: “I don’t even have a burner Twitter account, haha! I do have a cheesy secret Instagram account where I can click on links sent to me by friends.”

The Tesla CEO rarely fails to respond to Pathole’s tweets.
