A charity started and funded by billionaire George Soros donated $60 million in January to Democracy PAC, a super political action committee he uses to back Democrats, Bloomberg reported.

Democracy PAC distributed $21 million to twelve super PACs in the first three months of the year. This information was reported in a document submitted to the Federal Election Commission. Among them, the House Majority PAC and the Senate Majority PAC, which support Democratic candidates for Congress, each received $4 million.
Planned Parenthood Votes and Black PAC, which focuses on engaging Black voters to elect candidates in various elections, including governors, attorneys general, and lawmakers, received $2.5 million each, according to information on Black PAC’s website.

Additionally, one of these groups is linked to Soros. As per sources, the billionaire supports both President Biden and his opponent, Donald Trump.

Soros’ group, called Democracy PAC, has been busy giving out a lot of money. They’ve donated $500,000 to a group supporting contraception and $1.8 million to American Bridge, a group helping Biden get reelected. They’ve promised over $140 million to support Biden’s campaign.
The group has recently donated $60 million, making it the second-largest donation in this year’s election cycle, Dailymail reported. This shows how much influence they have in politics.
It’s not the first time Soros has given big money to political causes. In January 2022, he gave $125 million to Democracy PAC. So, he’s been a big player in politics for a while now.
