Russia says captured symbolic village of Robotyne in south Ukraine

Russia said Wednesday it had captured the southern Ukrainian village of Robotyne, one of only a handful of settlements Kyiv retook in its summer counteroffensive last year.

“Units of the Dnipro group of troops completely liberated the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region,” Russia’s defence ministry said, reporting advances across the frontline.
